Klir Filter Roller V1 VS V2

What was the reason for the upgrade for the V1 roller? i see V2 and V1 upgrade. What went wrong that they had to upgrade it? i have a v1 not upgraded and want to know if i need to upgrade for a good reason.

The remote optical sensor with magnet was one of the upgrades. I think they may have improved the controller too Being able to move the optical sensor to a more convenient and reliable location was a big improvement for me

If yours is working fine and your happy then i would think there's no reason to upgrade.
