Kryptonite candy cane in trouble

The stalk of my kryptonite candy has exposed skeleton. It’s bright neon on the top, but over the course of a couple months I’ve noticed the skeleton has become more exposed and it hasn’t been producing more heads. How should I go about this?

Do you know the parameters for your tank? Are there any other corals?
