Oh man I am sad :( this dude never looked happy from the moment he arrived in the bag, all scrunched down in the corner. lasted a little over 24 hours in my tank then belly up. Till then he was always in a corner or perched on the sand bed in the back of the tank. Not ever displaying normal fish behaviour to me (swim straight up then drift backwards belly up) but I’ve never had a goby before. Still. Not usual fish behaviour?
Buddy kicked it. Rip little dude. :( 38873F40-D136-4838-A0AF-A900EB985138.jpeg

Sorry to hear. Gobies aren’t overly active fish, but drifting like that is always a bad sign that it’s too late. Likely it didn’t handle shipping or acclimation well, but keep an eye on other fish that it didn’t bring a disease in.

Sounds like a shot swim bladder, sorry.
