Looks better than my tank did at 2 month, lol.
It’s been very interesting to watch the maturing process. I think I've been very lucky that my dry rock bottled bacteria start has pretty much gone the best case scenario way. Definitely thankful for that.

I'm going to jump ahead in bigger blocks of time now on this build thread so I can get to present day a bit faster

These 2 particular pieces of coral, are responsible for leading me down the path of addiction to Acropora. Bonsai Acropora Valide and a Bubblegum Monti Digitata I got on an impulse buy just past the 3 month mark. I thought I was ready and apparently it was true. They started off very very slowly, surviving but certainly not thriving. In the last 6 weeks they are taking off. This new growth and happiness coincides directly with when I started dosing 2 part. Not a coincidence I'm sure of that.

So a suggestion which may not be reasonable depending on how encrusted/space in the tank. I’d give your sps more room apart from each other. I stuck mine close together too and my red planet has about 3” of base around it now and almost killed off 2 slower growing acros. My bonsai is growing several inches of base as well.

Looks fantastic!

You are 100% correct about the space between the acros. I ran out of room really quickly because I couldn’t stop buying new frags ;Facepalm
So I’ve taken a couple off that top rock and moved them back to the frag rack where they will stay until the new Acropora only tank is ready. I’m going to take that top rock out of this tank and put it in the new one. Most of the Acro on that rock can still be moved, I probably have a month or so before they will be too encrusted. My red planet, one Rainbow loom and the digi will have to stay on that rock though.
thanks!

Digi is looking good!

Mine is still bleached from the tank crash - not sure if the color will ever come back. It is still growing at a fast rate, but no bright red. :/

Hey James, I forgot to ask what fish this is. A beauty!
Thanks!

That’s a orange diamond spot prawn goby. :D

Yes very much so.
Please and thank you:D

Lol On Edit:
Id imagine you have par mapped and if so you may as well post that too. For the fiends;)
Sorry man I haven't mapped the par. Couldn't find a metre to rent anywhere. I will definitely do it on the new tank though, I'll find one somewhere. I ain't buyin' one that's for sure !

Give the Digi some more time James. They're pretty flexible as far as light goes. Anywhere from medium to high. Same with flow but flow is important.

I really love that Goby!! Could be one of the new tanks first inhabitants

I have the same I bought to many sps frags for my tank and am trying to fit them in spots that they shouldn’t problem lol. My red planet just keeps laying down base…

From what I've seen and read The Red Planet can encrust forever ! Ha! I suppose it is a tabling Acro though, which is why I placed it right on the edge of the rock...we shall see.

Looks like I'll have to do it individually.
