I'm a big fan of buying used stuffs. Unfortunately in So Cal there are some shady peeps AKA flippers and I've been burned a couple of times with lighting equipment. There's always something missing or wrong that they conveniently forget to mention. Be careful when buying used.

I buy the used items that people who want the latest and greatest need to get rid of. Half of the time I can take them apart and get them "like new" fairly easily.
