Just out of curiosity, do lawnmower blennies only eat green hair algae? or any other algae in a tank?

They consume different types of algae but don’t depend on these to fix your gha problem.

They really prefer film algae in my experience. They like the little stuff. You might get an LFS telling you they're great for hair algae etc etc....but I've never had one eat hair algae and I've had 2.

Film algae is their preference. They will eat true hair algae, but bryopsis.
