Lawnmower Blenny stomach

I noticed today that my lawnmower Blenny has a bulge, and cave in his chest/stomach and maybe that he's skinny. He's eating frozen (mysis mostly) twice a day, won't eat pellets yet. I had some bryopsis which I just treated with flucanazole and some green and red tuft type algae here and there in the tank.

Other than that I get film algae on the glass which I try to leave so he has something to pick at.

I have one myself, he might be constipated? Was he always like this? Has he been eating? What’s his swimming behavior?

I only noticed his body shape today, but he's been 'normal' being that he's acted the same always. He sits on the rocks, picks at the glass/rocks/back of the tank and swims to the front of the tank whenever I come near. He's a pretty ferocious eater. He holds his own even with my clowns, and darts from piece to piece of mysis. I've put algae sheets in clips on the glass but he doesn't touch it. I usually pull it back out after around 6 hours.

I pulled a picture that I took a number of days ago, and he does not seem to have this gap in his stomach

Is there anything I can do to try to help if he is constipated?

It just looks like he ate too much at one meal. See if it goes down after a day. If it's still that big after a day, skip a day of feeding. If after a day of no food it's belly is still that swollen, chopped boiled peas can be fed.

Thanks for the help guys! I just hear so often of blennies/mandarins etc. starving and dying because they're not getting enough to eat so I immediately worried that was the case!

He does eat a lot, just a little less than my clowns. I typically feed in the morning [small amt of frozen], when I get home [small amt of frozen], a couple of hours later [pellets/more frozen]

I also have a sheet of algae which he hasn't/doesn't touch.

I have thought/hoped that by overfeeding every day I would get some algae growth for him to eat, but I haven't really noticed any alga [aside from bryopsis - which is now completely gone (flucanazole)] on my rocks. I've also avoided cyano somehow even with much more feeding

I know this is old but my Blenny looks the same as yours did in the photos, did he/she end up have any issues?

No, it ended up normal and I never had any issues/deaths etc.

Still not sure what was wrong with him, and I took that tank down a couple of years ago.

My lawnmower blenny is not active, stays at the same space most of the time, like a statue, but I see the guilds are moving.. I treated with flucanazole 6 days ago..
