Anyone have a exact link to buy a high power later to kill aptasia? There is so many out there I have no clue what to get, I don't want to spend a fortune either, there many on eBay and amazon that are in my price range. Seems every time I ask no one has the exact thing they use and cant direct me to where they got it.

When you find one please use proper eye protection!

beat me to it!! if and when you do find an applicable laser, get applicable glasses as well! lasers are serious business and you can do serious/permanent damage easily, especially since you will be working in a liquid filled glass box, ripe with opportunities for re-deflections.

I bought a laser about a year ago. It is 1.6 watts and does contain the protective glasses, charger and even extra batteries.
If you do buy one, make sure it is focusable.
So, after having this one for a while, I have found that if you can not get to the foot of the aiptasia, it will just grow back.
I have 2 in my 50 gallon tank that I have hit a dozen times each, but since I can't get to the base, they just grow back.
