Learn from my mistake!!

I recently went out of town for a weekend. While I was gone the hose from my top off reservoir fell out of my sump. I had not mounted it since I hadn't automated the system. SO when the tube fell out into the stand it siphoned the ~1.5gal of RO/DI into the stand. That alone is no major issue on its own since I waterproofed the inside of the stand. The one thing I didn't waterproof was the power supply for my Vortech MP10es that was laying in the stand!! Needless to say its toast. A painful rookie mistake!

Ouch! I hear Vortech CS is great and maybe they will replace it free of charge. Worth a call!

Like I said, they have very good CS. You can afford little things like this when you sell the most overpriced model on the market.

Same thing happened to my friend while I was watching his house and tank it shorted out both of his mp40 power supplies he called them to buy new ones and they replaced them for free sent them overnight and gave him and I both samples of there glue. Yeah they have great customer service

Wow I had no idea this happened so often! I will be mounting my power supply to the stand when I get a new one. How did everyone mount theirs?
