Hi reef lovers!
I have leather hand which was looking fantastic when we got him and noted the shedding instantly. Parameters have been stable and have be testing waters weekly with 2wkly water changes. Tank is about 3.5months old.

However, the last 4 weeks this guys has not been happy and wondering if it is just a major sulking phase or if it is bacteria related. It has some brown spots/discolouration.

Hasn't been moved since first placed in tank. Good water flow.

Still feels firm and no squishy spots

The only variables of note are

1. Change in lighting to help photosynthesis as they weren't growing and have seen massive improvement. Just from recommended red sea nano programme to deep sea

2. Fang- our striped blenny loves to use it as a hammock.

Any suggestions? It it sulking or should I be concerned.

Attached all photos of tank, leather, lighting, parameters and the lazy blenny caught red handed.

Its fine, leathers can close up for several weeks at a time. Just make sure it has a good amount of flow (sorry if I missed it but I don't see powerheads in the tank) and decent lighting - I notice the leather is at lower placement than the zoa's, but leather IMO likes more light than the zoa's. But it looks fine to me.

Thank you for your help! There is a powerhead in the top right. I will keep an eye on him.
