My LED fixture died while I was fiddling with things to add some clean up crew last week. Apparently the heat sink screws on one side broke free and one LED in the corner dropped into contact with the acrylic cover. From the looks of things his caused it to overheat and fry. I took things apart and tested it all and that was the only casualty. I cut it out if the loop, spliced the wires, and am back in business. Good thing, too, because I just put an anemone in the tank. I seriously should have mounted the heat sink better, but it is located in an ancient JBJ hood going on 10+ years old and the plastic is getting brittle.

Here is a photo of the LED BarBQ. Notice how even the wires and nylon screws were fried.
