I have a 55 led 165watt (black box) led I want to take the led panel out and put my own controller and power supply or supplies and drivers so I can make it controllable. It is already wired in 3 channels 1 is 3 uv's 2 is whites reds and greens together and 3 is the blues. Can anyone tell me what driver or drivers I need or can use and what power supply I need to use. It won't be wired to an apex or anything similar so I don't need anything compatible with the such but I would like to be able to set timers for each channel to automate it. Also I want it to have a dimmer.

I'm thinking maybe this controller or maybe one similar if a different one would be better. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it thanks. Someone told me to use meanwell ldd drivers and a 48v supply would 48v be sufficient to run all 55 led's at once and what watt would it power them at also how many of the meanwell drivers would I need they look to me like they are a 5 channel driver but idk I haven't build a led light before but if someone could tell me what to use I could wire it. Thanks alot sorry for the long post. Lol

Ok but which driver do I need to use for this light? That's what I'm having problems with us finding the correct drivers cause I'm new to diy led and I want them to be bright but not burn them up.

26 x 2.2 = 57.2

Most LEDs that run around 500-700mA including the Chinese knockoffs have an individual VF range of 3.4-3.3

The LDD Driver can run 14-16 LEDs with a 48vdc powersupply.

How are your LEDs arranged? In Parallel Strings or are they all in series?

the blues have a vf of 3.3-3.4 and also the whites but the reds and greens are on the same channel as the whites and they only have a vf of 2.2-2.4. So I could drive the blues at 3.3-3.4 but the channel with whites, reds, and greens I was only going to drive at 2.2-2.4 because of the red and green led's. As far as them being wired in parallels or series I'm not sure here's a pic of the board.

It looks like they are all in series given only two driver leads.

Given the quality/efficiency of the LEDs I would keep this as a spare and not try to upgrade it as an UL listed driver thats dimmable may cost more than the fixture.

That's the leads for only one channel, there are 2 more channels. So can you give me the specs on a driver I would need to drive 2 channels with 26 led's on each at 2.2-2.4? I would appreciate it or a link would be even better thanks.

Thats a driver with a VF of 62.4 VDC

Anything over 54vdc is expensive if its UL Listed. A lot of Black Box drivers have no listing , name or information. They do this for a reason.
