My JBJ is going through a bit of a rough patch... I've got 2 LED strips out on my intermediate 28g JBJ trying to figure out where to buy replacements? My pumps also just went out..

I guess I'd rather knock it all out now and replace it all at once!

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks!

Actually that's a pretty easy fix nowadays. You can slap a Chinese black box in it board only or buy a retro fit kit.
Check out SBreef lights website. I pe refer thier colors over my old jbj.
A used ai sol might fit better though. It's 12 in. And would probably drop right in without lenses and would give you twice the power and controll.
Then it's just a fee bucks for new cobalt mj1200. There is a dc 1200 by jebao but honestly I don't know if it fits. Those on a dual jebao wave controller would be rad. Really rad. B

You can replace the individual led lights from eBay. Their 3W non board led. I got 10pc for about $3. If you don't fix them, they will burn the remainder of the LED strips and jbj wants $70 for a $0.50 led. Rip off from jbj and completely design flaw. The LED are ran in a series.

Ended up going top less and getting a maxspect!
