Me and my bf currently are doing a similar experiment but with two different tanks... he has a metal halide on his and a reef torch 20k led on my tank... he put a few frags and my purple tyree bonsai already looks more purple lol or different purple.. and my mushrooms loveeee the led... my thread is called ...our tank ♥ idk how to link from phone..still new lol

Thank you for posting. The corals are looking great. I love the way you have the Rock set up. I love the Black Tang. I am looking forward to seeing your next video providing a status update of the differences and observations. It looks like you have more Corals on the MH side. Tom

Page may not exist due to it being almost 6 years old.

I did a similar side by side 9 years ago before I ditched all my Metal Halide gear, granted 9 years ago all I heard was how LEDs wouldn't grow my acros
Still laughing at that today as I laughed backed then :)
