Also, in regards to coral growth from red or green spectrums, both of those are covered by the white leds.
White contains all color spectrums.
The red and green leds are for visual appeal only. And are always ran low in comparison to other color channels.
On my layout, the violet blue adds some red but also a deeper nm of blue. 420 nm.
Cyan adds some green but also some additional blue 480nm if memory serves me.

Theres cyan ( covers green) and violet blue ( covers red spectrum)
Here is 1 vid i made, if you click on the poster, there are additional vids. Im no youtuber so please understand that lol

There is another issue I hadn't considered...Import tax and UK VAT costs. If I have to pay the VAT that adds 13% on top of the price and then another 2% on import tax....not such a great saving now...and I don't think there is a way round it.

I can understand that. Government regulations suck! Does the britex movement have an effect on that? I feel sorry for buyers of radions over there, that must be insane prices.

Brexit is an issue for a lot of stuff. Ive sent Kevin a message to see if there is anything we can do. Im told that if Ledzeal will send it as a 'gift' then the 13% could be avoided but Im not sure they will.

How long did it take for your lights to arrive?
About 8 days for all 4 to arrive. All 4 made it to the states in 5 days, and 3 arrived on the 6th day. 1, the master was held by customs for an additional 2 days. They never opened the box, but did hold it. My assumption is x-ray showed the wifi control boards in it and the otherz didnt have it, causing a red flag.

Hey guys and girls, i got some great news, kevin emailed me last night and said they are highly considering making a 4ft version of the mirage. It will be the x400. 120 leds. Only difference would be the controller would be outsidw the unit, inline with the power cord. So wall socket, wire, power box, wire, controller, wire, light. He said that the parts to handle the exrta power just wont fit inside the case and run off 1 power cable. Pricing he suggested would be half of othe 4ft lights, and the radion xr30 g5. Obviously the price is subject to change, but not by much.

Shooter, what ramp schedule do you use with the super blue layout? I find myself running #4 white at like 70 all day so I was curious.

Guys, what's the spacing between the LEDs on this, both horizontal and vertical please?

I've got my last few dual core LEDs on the way to make my "clone" I'll be running at 500ma, I assume they run around that mark given that they only have a very few no. of complaints regarding reliability, has anyone tested the current through a string?

Ill try to screen shot it when i get home. I never go above 50% on any channel with my current system.
Ill be transferring the set of x200 i currently have to my 400g until i get my order of x300 in.
Although now that they are planning to release an x400 4ft lights, i may hold out for them.

It's a big difference when you crank the channel 2 and 3 up but 1 seems to make it almost too dark. 2nd photo is edited to take some blue out with a filter

I dont know how yours could possibly be to dark, at anywhere other then at near lights out or just starting to ramp up.

Thanks shooter, you've added alot of time into a couple of these forums and your feedback is appreciated.
No problem, anything I can do to help.
My goals are to help others on a budget like myself.
Much of the equipment in this industry is way over priced, but is bought because of the name status. Neptune and ecotech are 2 examples. They are the benz but like benz have issues that are not talked about. Theres many hondas and toyotas in this industry that get over looked.

How do these lights compare to the G5 Pros? I was going to buy 2 of the XR30s for a waterbox peninsula 40201
