Introduced a baby gold flake maroon and it looks like they are going to pair. She has stopped chasing him and now allows him to brush up against her and he does the seizure submission thing frequently.

Well i'd call this a success at this point. She's still giving him an occasional tap but he's allowed to go anywhere in the tank he wants.

Well not only have they paired up but the female has selected a BTA and is now starting hosting behavior. Slapping it with her tail and rubbing against it.
