So I have the AEFW. All SPS were removed and placed in the new frag system after a dip in Coral Rx. I inspected all corals and used a razor to remove visible egg clusters. I will keep the display free of SPS for 2 months, or longer is needed.

Here's a couple of pics after the dip last night:

Jeeze that was an amazing piece!

What did you dip it in? Do you think it was the dip that killed it or another factor?

Doubt it was the dip. It slimed up so I put it in a high flow area and forgot to move it. I think it was just getting blasted for 3 days and could not take the flow.

No not ORA. In that case I have a bi-color! This one is a deep purple w/green polyps - the pic is usless as the coral is the brightest purple I have seen on the whole body.

oh crap, sorry to hear that rik.

How are the acros doing?

After 2 dips one week apart they are looking much better. I have polyp extension again. I will keep them out of the display as long as it takes and I'll deal with what ever dies as the cost of having a clean tank once more.

I'm going to take this time to work on adding the O3, cleaning up the wires behind the tank, adding the top off etc... I may even add ~20 fish.

Arriving later today:

5 Female Lyertail Anthias
1 Male Lyertail Anthia
8 Green chromis
5 Longspine Cardinals
2 Yellow Coris Wrasses

My goal is a tank that looks way over stocked like the one at the Smithsonian down town (seen below). I will be feeding lots, skimming heavy and doing a 20% water cahnge every Sunday night.
