I need some help with a Leptoseris I bought on February 4th. It was fine for the first week but slowly has been bleaching/receding. I’ve tried it in low light, shaded, so from PAR 40-120 and low to medium to high flow. The Salinity is 35PPT, 460 Ca, 9 Alk, 1400 Mag, 78 Temp, No3 5, Po4 .1. Everything is doing good I had to up the 2 part dosing. Have Frogspawn, Green Slimer, pocillopora, zoas, GSP, Xenia. All doing good. I gave two pictures of the slimer to show growth.

You did see the labels on the picture. The first picture is today and the second picture is February 24. When you say low light is it below 120 PAR? When I had it in a shaded area it kept getting worse.

It's a slow grower. Still looks fine. Your slimer will grow 10x faster than any lepto.
I have kept mine for 7 years happy under am overhang with zero direct light and minimal flow. In the 7 years, it has probably increased in size 7x

I guess I’ll try it in the shaded area again and just let it be. Maybe I didn’t give it enough time in the shade before moving it because I didn’t see the bleaching/receding slow or stop.

If I were to move it where should that be? This location is a shaded location. So I’ve been from 40-120 PAR. I doubt going above 120 would be good for the coral at this time or can a coral do this when not getting enough light.

I'd out in an area with only indirect light and low to very low flow and hope for the best..
