What’s your favorite pink one? I’m creating a hammer grove on my rockscape and will need that color
If you like the one in my post I might have a head available once I take it out. I need to figure out how close the heads are together still.

my frogspawn has a yellow core, but you only see it when the branches are extending outwards. And of course when I want to take a picture the are all fluffy

I tried everything and even cut off all tank water flow but this is the best pic I can get, and it looks like a green core no matter how I try to photograph it :( it’s yellow lol

The mint hammer I grew from 2 heads to 28 heads in a year

And then a macro of my gold hammer

Beautiful gold color on that hammer!
Thank you! It really stands out under the blues

I’ve seen a lot of really nice hammers, gardens and colonies in this thread. I think everyone deserves some credit for being able to keep these beautiful examples of the species

I agree. I’m starting to think about how I can separate them a bit to give them room to grow and spread out. And yeah, some really nice specimens.

Looks like most of these are branching hammers, including mine (except maybe for Kristopher Conlin’s orange)
I love wall hammers as I think they have the true crescent hammer shape polyp and most awesome colors. Shame as I think we tend to shy away from them cause if they get BJD or the head dies you lose the whole coral.

I have succesfully fragged wall hammer for propagation and another time to stop bjd from spreading

And my gold one in the sand is a wall hammer

these are my 3 wall hammers from @DetroitReefClub. The one on the left in the first pic is one of my absolute favorites due to the shape of the tentacles

I love the hammerhead shark polyps on that top hammer!

Exactly how I described those tips to my wife this week. The aquarium is in my office at home, she doesnt come in here much. Kinda cool because when she does she notices new growth and polyp expansion right away

That’s cool!
Mines off my living room and that’s how I got her involved in helping to pick things to put in it. Now…since it’s getting full, I bought this for my office
