Wasn't sure I should start a new thread or not : I cant tell the difference between Moyeri wrasse & Kuiter's Leopard Wrasse.
Are they the same species ? tried looking it up for a while still confused.

I would like help to ID some wrasses and, if possible, sex then.

First one was told me to be a "blue side"

I think the first is C. cf cyanopleura but I could be wrong about that (C. cyanopleura). The flasher is a Carpenters. The H. iridis is definitely a male. Not sure about the third one. Hunter or TJ should chime in before long

This one is Cirrhilabrus cf cyanopleura (ruby head fairy wrasse). I have one in my tank and it's colors are stunning. Very peaceful.

They are different species, but are in the same complex within the genus. Kuiteri has a more "spotted" pattern on the body, moyeri has a yellower face. Care is identical.

Male H. iridis, radiant wrasse. Males have facial striations and lose occelli on the dorsal.

In my opinion:
The carpenter looks a juvenile male;
The rubripinnis looks a female;
About the ruby head, I am more in doubt (brigth collors but short pelvic fin), maybe juvenile male.

What do you think about?
