It is about 3.5-4” and was hard to capture it’s coloration with an I-phone, but it also has some red developing on the anal and tail fins. I’m thinking possibly a halichoeres species, but I’m not sure so instead I purchased a fish I’m more familiar with a Moyeri leopard.

What kind of wrasse is this? It has purple and white body with pink tail and like yellow bottom.

How about this one? It’s beautiful! It’s listed as a Walsh Fairy Wrasse, but I’m having difficulty verifying that.

I've been trying to locate a resource for you, and the closest that I have seen is what is labeled as Halichoeres bicolor at this website.
that's the source I recently found as well, it seems that they are not often collected for the hobby because I cannot find any care information. I like the look of them and have been debating adding them to the wrasse dominant setup I am building, but without knowing much about them I am hesitant

Close but the Coral Hogfish, Bodianus mesothorax, not mobile invertebrate safe.
Thank you! I almost bought it because its so pretty. Glad I did my homework on this one. It would have been a nightmare to get him out of my tank! And certainly thank you for educating me! Love this forum!
