Coryanthes seegeri (a bucket orchid) has disgusting looking flowers until they open and reveal beautiful, alien flowers. The flower drips nectar into the bucket which attracts a species of bee that gets trapped in the smooth walled bucket. The only way out is through a small hole which deposits pollen on the bee as it struggles through. It then flies off to do the same to another flower, pollinating it in the process.
