I want to hear some of the funniest stories about your tank. Anything and everything, I'll start

My wife and myself bought a new house earlier this year and our realtor spent 3 weeks sending my wife emails with reasons why I shouldn't move my aquarium into our new home. Her biggest point was adding it will decrease the value of the house if we decide to resale later down the road. Even with her hearing us talking about it being in a room with concrete floors with hardwood laid over, and all of my mixing stuff being kept in a extra bathroom in the same room that is also concrete with tile all the way around. Even went as far as telling the neighbors if they decided to sell after we moved in and had bright lights coming out the house at all hours of the day to give her a call. I've never in my life met someone so against selling a house or against aquariums. So just to add to her hate the only picture posted on her website of us with the sold sign is us standing in front of my aquarium

I'm sure my custom fossil tile countertops with rustic wood and hickory cabinets will get yanked out when I sell my place.

I've seen too many home improvment shows where nothing is sacred.

My realtor told me not to buy next to the railroad...that was good advice, place was a dump anyway. It was a cute two story post and beam about 100 years ago.

Never heard that advice from a realtor unless it was built into a wall. I know we've had a couple of members in our local reef club that had to take there aquarium out of the wall and have the wall repaired before moving because it was impossible to sale the house and leave it there. We have one member that was in the process of building a big tank in his backyard. I'm assuming he doesn't plan to ever move or it will be very expensive to undo what he has done.
