LOL show that gunk off and tell us a little about your skimmer!

Here is mine taken tonight after 3 days of skimming. I have a Reef Octopus NW150 heavily modded.

I tried to get the poo to stay on my finger but it plopped off in the sink...

I sent the pump and venturi off to Luke at SWC Skimmer and he reworked the venturi, tripled the intake size. He also mesh modded the needle wheel. Then I added a gate valve to the drain on it so I could dial it right in.

Gross. haha. I think that Swabbie picture a few weeks back trumps them all though. I don't think its humanly possible to pull nastier stuff that we he did.

Just cleaned mine before seeing this thread. I'll have to wait a couple days. :) I use a BK 300 Ext.

Gotta give me a few days because i just dumped the skimmate last night.

Funny story, I am leaving to Cali and my sis doesn't want me to take down the tank so i told her to dump the skimmate. She did and almost vomited! I had to LOL when she then said "that stuff smells like ***!". My response was it is proteins and poop basically!

Cleaned five days ago, ETSS 800 on a 160 sps tank with med fish load. Hooked to a collection container so there isn't any liquid in the cup
