I started this 65 gallon Aqueon tank on December 18, 2020 with Marco Rock and then filled with salt water and the live rock from a 29G former quarantine tank which this is replacing, into the sump and treated with Microbacter 7 each day and a few pellets. I moved the "surplus" corals from the 29 into this one on December 30. Here it is last night, still adding Microbacter daily (this is a modified Lasse start). I have a few more corals that I will transfer over from other tanks in a few weeks to be followed by my Hawaiian lionfish and Weedy scorpionfish. I have several 65G tanks left over from my discus breeding days and thought I would put one to better use than an ornament for the garage. I plan to do a tank build for this "LPS on the floor, mostly soft coral up higher" tank.

Started late October, 2020. Bought the whole setup from another reefer, with livestock and all. Dealt with a nasty dino outbreak, and now dealing with turf and bubble algae. Once I have this sorted, will begin adding corals. Loving the hobby so far.
