I had a calm for 6 years, beautiful coloration. But I had a couple of aptasia on it and treated it with a juice that apparently got into the clam. Lesson learned. don't treat with that stuff. remove by tweezers.......

Peppermint shrimp will take care of them. Had aptasia as well. Had. Don't make a mistake ( Camel shrimp look a lot a like a peppermint)

Love this thread! Clams are in the top three reasons I'm getting into this hobby. I've got a long way to go and lots to learn first, but I'm really excited for my future tank(s).
