Was just going to ask you the same when you said by great adventure...lol. I actually grew up in Jackson. Now I live further down south in Mays Landing, about 20 minutes from Atlantic City.

Ok. I grew up in Hamilton, now we live in Lambertville, and we are buying a house in Cream Ridge right on 537

Darn, 2 hours I'm out in Garden City at my aunt's house. My parents are from Elmhurst, Queens.
I won't be ready for granite or blue stone for a bit but I'll look you up when it's time even if I gotta pick it up.

Yeah our toolbox full of tooltruck tools don't compare to the cost of that I'm sure lol. Very nice setup for stone my son's grandpa would be jealous lol.

I know there's a lot of DIYers on here... you almost somewhat need to be in order to dive into this hobby.

• Whether it be building your own tank/sump out of glass or acrylic.
• Building your own stand out of wood or welding one out of steel or aluminum.
• Plumbing your own tank.
• Cable and wire management etc.
• Building your own or modifying light fixtures.
• Designing/fabricating your own reactors, skimmers and other accessories.
• You get my point!

I love tools and use them heavily for my day job... there's nothing like having the right tool. So please share your tools, whether it be hand tools, wood shop, metal shop, CNC, etc.

If you know me on here, you know I'm somewhat organized and meticulous.... and my tools reflect that. Here are some of my drawers from my work box. I actually take these pictures from time-to-time for insurance purposes. I was taking them today and it got me thinking it could be fun to use them in a thread like this.

I hate working outta a messy toolbox lol Got to grab n go in the shop no time to sort out a mess lol. Time at the box is money and time wasted.

I have a lot of hand tools but they're mostly junk and I have multiples that I just don't need. I'd like to throw them away and buy all new tools. what is a decent brand for an avid diy'er? I do some light work on my cars.

Just go craftsman, husky, or Cromwell. Depends what you can find for the price. Snap on or Mac OS nice but considerably more expensive. If you shop on eBay and craigslist you can find some good deals though.

Power tools......oh, IDK. For power tools I still stick with Milwaukee or DeWalt.

I use other brands for power tools, I just didn't know if craftsman hand tools were now poor quality like their power tools.
