No gobies at the moment but there is an invert burrowing under the rock in the first photo. My flame hawk does sleep on the sand. I have observed that the finer stuff makes its way to the bottom. I stir it up every week when I do my water changes. There are a few nassarius snails in the sand bed, too.

They are taking back orders now and will apparently start to be filled in April. I am likely going to wait until next month to order---I hope I don't regret it if for some reason the back order line gets super long.
It's been freakishly cold here. The low tonight is around 43, with daytime highs shy of 70. (I know, poor pitiful Florida.) For us, that's earmuff weather. I don't blame the ladies at @liverock for not wanting to jump off the boat right now. Once the weather turns, they will be able to farm on a steady basis, so that line will clear pretty quickly. If you are in a hurry, get on the list. Otherwise, good things come to those who wait.

Oh screw that man, not me. LOL

I would rather have the tank running properly and balanced than dealing with all the wave after wave of crap from fake rock. This whole place is littered with cyano, dinos, and all kinds of other problems from fake rock.
It's like hating pain, but shoving barbed wire up your winky anyway.

It's all fun and games, until..

Dude. I love this ****. I've been thru literally every brand/type of sand...this is it!!!! Shout out to the ladies @LiverockRocks! Had a shipping delay but they magically took care of it for me. Did the sand swap this morning...lots of work today but the corals are already open and happy. The texture of this stuff...BAM! Soooo glad I'm out of the maddening white sand game. Would and will do again in a heartbeat!

Winter is the most challenging time to harvest due to consistently higher waves, strong currents and poor visibility. 2’ waves don’t seem that high until your working with a 75lb swinging bag of rock while the diver below is working in 1’ visibility. For safety reasons, we have slowed down ordering. Once May/June hits, it’s game on!

We greatly appreciate our customers’ patience and flexibility.

The best 1,2 punch for biodiversity is the combo of live sand and live rock. Everything from TBS is carefully selected, travels submerged, packed with care and shipped as fresh as possible to keep those micro critters thriving.
