ok so i just ordered a lettuce nudibranch or lettuce sea slug i know they suck the chlorophyll out of bryopsis which is why i got it because i have bryopsis and i thought he could be a really big help but my question is will it become more green with the more algae it eats it looks like this right now i’m just wondering

Ours seems to camouflage and we haven’t noticed it do anything against the algae. As you stated it feeds of the chlorophyll and from what I’ve researched the chlorophyll will grow quicker than it can eat it, and keep in mind it only consumes the chlorophyll and not the plant itself. They are also photosynthetic and gets a lot of energy from your lighting. Regarding what I said on the camouflage, it was originally more green / blue colors in our tank however our damsels kept picking at it, over the last several weeks we’ve noticed it turn more a tan matching our rockwork and shells throughout in turn we noticed the damsels do not bother it any longer.

that appears to be the lettuce slug Elysia Clarki. find a source of LIVE algae in case you run out, they need "sap" from moist, live algae for food.
