Re-doing my 75 gallon tank and was thinking about what to do for the lid. I'm debating a screen top vs Lexan lid from Tenecor.

I like the idea of the acyrlic cover to slow evaporation, I was just worrying about how much condensation would form on it. Even if the reduced light transmission is negligible, I think the look of a lid covered in drops of water is distracting and a bad look. Was wondering if anyone had any input regarding the trade off of possible condensation build up vs evaporation loss.

If your lighting system is close enough the radiated heat will prevent condensation as well.
