This piece has a nice deep purple color to it. I just can't capture it with my camera. I have it placed down on my sandbed, seems happy there. Any ideas?

Granulosa will have blunt tips and the ones i see here are more of a point. Both will table so keep that in mind when placing it. It looks like it was a maricultured piece that was glued sideways. The farmers will do that will efflos.

So do you suggest mounting it horizontal? I was thinking the same thing, but as I said, it is on the sandbed so it is growing vertically.

It will probably build a big base then table off that. So you can keep it there. It wil even out eventually.
