I currently have a 10 gallon reef but I'm picking up a red sea 130. it has the stock t5s. I'm just curious if its good enough to grow my corals? my corals consist of star polyps zoas a tyree toadstool and a Duncan. thank you

Solid plan right there.I would say stock lighting for the types of corals you mentioned would work fine. Water quality / parameters is probably your key with those, more so than lighting; not that upgraded lighting down the road would be a "bad" idea-- but I'd get your feet wet with what you have and hone your skills.
The age of the light doesn't matter if you replace the bulbs. If the bulbs are old you should replace them. Otherwise I agree that for your corals that light should be okay.thank you guys. I just wasn't sure because its a older light.
