Hello, I would like to know some recommendations you guys might have for my nano tank. It’s 16”L 12”W and 15”T. I’m looking to grow a rock flower anemone and some softies.

I'm very happy with my budget light, Aqua Knight V2. I have it over a 35cm cube (13ish inches) and it's growing LPS, SPS, and zoas wonderfully.

There are some videos with PAR numbers on YouTube. I also did some PAR numbers with mine before I added corals. I used an app on my iPhone and the lights weren't turned up to 100% either. I'm running the blues at 100% and the whites at 5% currently.

Find a tank you really like the look of on instagram, youtube, tiktok, whatever. Buy the light they have.

Also, this might seem pedantic, but "softies" means nothing wrt lighting. Softies can grow at the bottom of the reef or in knee deep water, depending on species and strains. And most corals can adapt to a very forgiving range of light levels. Just don't hit them with too much light too fast.

Hey I just want to make sure I’m getting the right one. Are these 2 the same light?

i would skip the aquaknight v2 (also there is a v3 now) and go with either a noopsyche mini or popbloom rl60. Both in the same price range with higher power and more led channels to adjust the light.

I like all of my lights but in order Aquanest has five light levels , is programable if I remember for 5 or six time periods ( would look it up but my last computer crashed lost everything. Next Razor has three lights and is on my 40 with all my mushrooms they love it Has I think 6 time periods, Last Prime ( I had to buy the mounting arm for it on Amazon

look at the Noopsyche K7 mini. Noops are very good budget lights and proven to grow corals.
