So I ordered some chaeto online for my refugium and was sent 6 lightening dove snails as a free gift. I had planned on only trochus snails and have never heard of these dove snails before. I do not want to kill them or have them go to waste if they will be a valuable part of the clean up crew. Has anyone had experience with them before? Should I keep them?

Pictocolumbella ocellata.

i thought for sure that i had notes on these guys as predatory on smaller snails but i can’t find any such notes.

for what it’s worth, both saltwaterfish.com and reefcleaners.org list them as reef-safe.
