I have a 45 gallon JBJ rimless all in one. It measures 26” wide x 22 x19. Currently I have on AI Prime HD. Should I be using 2?

Looking for opinions.

What kind if any corals do you plan on keeping? Softies, LPS, SPS, Nems, etc.

As a general rule, I would say, YES, you would be better served with 2 Prime's over that tank. The prime is rated by AI for a max 24"x24" coverage, though IMO and experience, it is better for 18x18 or even 12x12. Even if you are not keeping SPS, clams, nems, etc, you will have much better coverage with 2.

I am not sure yet. I just started and have these right now.

Thank you

You could also look at the 24” Aquatic Life T5 fixture that adds 4 T5 bulbs to you lighting and that would cover you pretty well then once you get into Acro SPS corals add a second AI Prime and you would have a solid light set up to grow anything you wanted in your tank.
