Lighting for a canopy

SOOOOOO....I went from a 75 to a 150...the new tank has a canopy that my t5s fit inside, however, the fixture is not really mountable in this situation, which has lead me to the venture of new lighting.

I can build just about anything as long as i have a guide or something. I want to be able to keep clams at one point, so the most light i can get w/o cooking my tank would be awesome.

t5s look wonderful on my lion fish...so i am going to incorporate actinics at the least

I would like to do the LED as the main light due to size and power consumption.

I do want to go the cheapest route possible since i just spent an arm and a leg.
ALSO, I dont really need the entire tank lit up, in face, i like having the shadowy areas for my fish. the puffer loves the shadows and so do my lions, plus i dont want to blind their big brown eyes.

Does anyone have recommendations for a good cheap led kit, or PREFERABLY how to make one and a parts list..

(i am selling things on ebay to raise money for this, so my funding will hopefully be strictly paypal profits...176 is my highest bid thus far....as I make mo money i will update my budget.)

Check these guys out. Their kits come with instructions so no worries.. very easy to build even with my mediocre soldering skills..

well that seems like a good site. about the optics: Does the Larger Angle make the beam of light wider? And also, for a 6 foot tank what recommendations would you have for number of less/drivers? I want to go BRIGHT AS CAN BE. I have blue actinic T5s so I am not getting the blue led.
