Looking for the perfect light for a new tank that's in the cycling process. I have a 10 Gal WB running a Fluval Sea Nano with 30 corals, more than half are softies and they will slowly be moving over to the 25 when it's good and ready. (Still dreading the process) Price isn't too much of an issue, so any of y'all who own something other than AI's or Ecotech's, I'd love to hear your thoughts and/ or experiences on what might be a perfect fit.

Noopsyche K7 pro might just fit the bill,or even 1-2 Mini K7's. The K7 Pro $209 with the tank mount / arm,and the Mini's are $93 with the flex arm mount.

People are LOVING those lights the past few years.

But technically you could run t5's,since the tank is 24" long. If it were me and doing some softies and a few lps,I would do t5's and an led bar like ReefBrite or Orpek.

I have a 10g running 4 t5's and a DIY led bar. But I am redoing that light and making it a hybrid by replacing the 2 middle bulbs with a NanoBox DIY hybrid kit.

4 t5 bulbs before the tank got VERY ugly.

I really like that setup. I'll have a look at the Noopysche, I need to keep it simplistic, or else I'd totally go with t5's.

I would look into them,if I wasn't invested in my light I would sell it and get 2 k7 mini's.

I would hang the light but my wife has her beloved highland cow pic right above my tank :(
