I have (2) AI Primes 16 HD on a 75 gallon tank. Current corals are doing well but it's time to take my lighting plan to the next level. Should I purchase (2) more AI Prime 16's or was thinking about purchasing an Aquatic Life T5 hybrid fixture and put the (2) existing Primes in the hybrid fixture. Is this fixture still popular?

Thanks

I don’t know about popular, but that is an awesome setup for growing and coloring up corals.
Agreed. I'm a big fan of both T5s and LEDs. Mix and match sounds good. That's the route I'm going when I upgrade from just T5s.

I ‘ve been alternating between LED/T5 hybrid and LED/T5/Halide hybrid for years on my SPS tank.

They really do all bring different things to the table.

That would be a good setup
Or you could get the quanta led bars which were designed to replicate t5 spectrum and output

What kinda halide do you need
Oh, I don't. I was looking at the Photon 48" for my eventual upgrade but am reconsidering. With my tank size changing, I gotta see if other alternative options may be a better fit. Gotta dig in and read up. I'll PM you.

I bought some radium’s from aqua brite solutions a few months ago. I’m using reef brite fixtures and ballasts.

My primary light is Reefi UNOs. I run 3 UNOs and 2 halides in a 6 foot tank.

What do you mean when you say, "...take my lighting plan to the next level?" What are you looking for that you are currently not getting with your current set up? Knowing what you want to achieve will help give you the best answers. Otherwise you may be spending money unnecessarily.
