So the new tank that should arrive in the following weeks is 24x24 and 19 inches deep (roughly, we use meters here lol).

I currently have a single AI prime 16 HD and another one is arriving in two weeks.

I would like to know what you guys think of the setup to keep sps on the rocks and lps and softies on the lower portion of the tank.

I dont mind getting a third one in the future, but my LFS told me that even one should be enough. Ideally i wouldn't want to switch to another model of light since i live in Argentina and it's not as easy as going to the shop and grabbing one, actually it is but they charge double the price. For me it's cheaper to order them from the US on amazon, but i have to wait two weeks to get it shipped, and there is a limit of how much i can import by year. There are a couple of local brands that make reef lights but they don't have the level of customization of the primes aswell.

Cheers

My 18" 20g nano cube runs 2 16hds and has no trouble growing sps on the bottom.

Nice looking nano, whats that orange thing on the glass?

The thing with this tank is that it's roughly 47 gallons (almost double) hence my doubts

2 is definitely enough (a single prime has an idela coverage of 18x18 ish and a max of 24x24). Make sure to mount them high enough and to spread the lights out closer to the edges rather than the middle.

Its some type of cyphastrea I believe. I dont remember though.
2 16hds will be fine in your 24x24.
I went with 2 on my 18" cube because its 95% acros.

Thats good to know, thanks guys
