lights for a tall tank?

hey guys, what lights would you recommend for a tall tank like this? this person is selling their tank without the current light and i think i want to purchase it. (ps want to keep price low as possible) thanks! (lps and softies)

My first instinct would be kessils with narrow reflectors

I’d do a kessil a360x or an Ai prime HD on that tank. You could also go cheaper and get a “165w black box” off of ebay or amazon. They have plenty of punch to them.

Is it 24" talk or 30" tall?

Are you partial to a given modality?

LED vs T5 vs MH?

What are your priorities beyond cost? Heat, firm factor, type of corals you want to grow on the sand?

What kind of aquascape are you planning? How high will it be?

i’m not that far yet hahahaha what about for a 40-60 gallon breeder? for the breeder no as far as the light i don’t mind the actual fixtures aesthetic, less heat produced the better, i’d probably grow shrooms trachy acans on the sand one or 2 sps on the top levels, euphyllia in the middle and zoas nothing too demanding of light!
