Tell me about your eel! I have always wanted a golden dwarf.

Does it ever try to snack on fish or inverts? How do you keep it from escaping. If you ordered it online please tell me from where :)

Your tank is looking great.

Hey KoleTang,

Hmm. What would you like to know about her? In my NanoCube 12DX she was with 2 Yasha Gobies, a Tiger Blenny and 2 picasso clowns. After 2 months both of my yashas disappeared and for some reason my Tiger Blenny also disappeared only a few days before I got to move them all into the new Solana 25. Whether or not she ate them I don't know, but she did try to nip at them when they weren't facing her. The yashas were really tough though and would turn around and open their mouth really wide open and scare her down. She's so small she can only eat mysis shrimp for now so I don't think she could have eaten the Tiger Blenny, which was really fat and muscular looking.

This is her when I first got her btw next to a quarter:

She's still around the same size. I have a screen mesh on top of my tank. I'll show it in my next video update, it's extremely ghetto and ugly looking since I had to do some "modifications" to suit her needs and the back equipment, LOL! I always tell my friend that see my tank to not look at the top and only through the tank. It really is really messy but it works! It involved a cut screen mesh top, some corafix glue and even some filter padding being glued down...

I don't trust her with inverts, just asking for an expensive snack!

Thanks for the tank compliment. I'm hopefully going to be trying some SPS pieces soon. :)

I too would be interested as to where you got your Golden Dwarf.

Tank is looking really good.

Thanks Drew. :)

I got my GDM from a collector in Hawaii. He's not selling/collecting them anymore though, I was luckily the last customer. :)

Ah, I love Black Friday sales. Here's the two pieces I snagged from the Blue Water Tropicals sale, they're being acclimated to the tank water. I couldn't even believe the price they had these at. I've been looking for a red plate just like this one for the longest time. The other one is supposed to be a nice green-rainbow center, but guess it needs to puff up a bit first.

Good looking tank dude and very some nice corals you've picked up.. I had a solana just last year, it really enjoyed that tank till it sprung a leak on me.

Thanks Mark for the kind words. Solanas are really great tanks, bummer about that leak! Hopefully that was a good excuse to upgrade? Haha.

I'm dealing with some Hair Algae atm, but I'm not too worried about it. It started because I started getting a bit lazy and not washing the mysis shrimp before feeding the fish since I usually spot feed everything. Guess it goes to show that washing your frozens is a must! It's on the receding end now, so hopefully it will go away within the next month or so. I'm pretty happy with the way things are starting to fill in. That left island makes me really happy since most of the growth is occuring there. Still have to fill that top portion with SPS!

Thanks man, SPS is my main focus now that I've already got almost all of the zps I've ever wanted in the tank along with a nice LPS collection. I'm still looking for a Shades of Fall, but Unique Corals has a lot of nice pieces as well. For $20 shipping, hard to beat for encrusted frags! Just waiting for them to send me pics of this nice SPS piece I spotted in the corner of my eye. That Aussie SPS is a great grower, already encrusting down the sides of the disk. The Pink Lemonade is a White Lemonade for now, but the PEs are keeping me working for it. It's hands down my favorite named SPS piece in the hobby atm.

I am thinking of grabbing some yellow submarines from unique corals. Looks so nice!
