Little gaint motors, model 3-mdqx-sc inline motors. Good bad or ok?

got a got deal on two of theses pumps used. Seems ok. They gota low hum and are not silent. Is it because they are used?. Read the u Can I oil it up? Thoughts?

I used Little Giant pumps years ago. Used to be one of the go to pump brands.
They were extremely dependable and lasted for years.
They were never totally silent, but never loud.
Some had oil ports near the wet end of the pump. It's been years since I even saw one so I can't be more specific.
