He won't attach anywhere! I have turned flow off he just seems to enjoy floating around the bottom and getting tangled in macro algae. Any recommendations

That’s a hard one. You could try getting a container of some kind, I use a dedicated mushroom basket with a lid, and put it in there with some rock rubble. The thing is that even if he attaches he may not like where you put the rock and you will be in the same boat if he decides to move again.
