Can little neck clams live in our tanks
I've read they live south to yuctan. That's why I ask.For a short time. I’ve thrown a few in throughout the years and they always die withing a couple months.

It is.I don’t think it’s the temperature that kills them.
Look for the old zoa rocks at the lfs. I’ve gotten some with dozens in em.I think it would be cool to have a couple of clams in the tank.
Put em in some tank water and they warm up. The cooler the tank water the better, but it’s pretty much like ice cubes in tap water.@saltyfilmfolks you stated in another post. How do you acclimate them if they don't come in water.
Years ago I collected clams in Fl in the intercostal where the water was well into the 80s and they still die in my 78 degree tank.It is.
The saying goes , you can’t mix oceans.
Cold water are temperate , our tanks are tropical.
If we could , I’d have a LOT more stuff in my tank.

But I’ve also had a flame red scallop for four years.

I rotate frozen foods , have a large Refugium.Have you done anything special to feed them?
