Hey R2R,

A package just came through this morning! I ordered a tiger pistol shrimp and a few hermits & snails from Liveaquaria (yes I know what’s been rumored). Placed my order on the 9th and it was expect to arrive the 14th.

It seems like the package got delayed but nonetheless my package was shipped last night and arrived the following morning. I seen a thread earlier on a few users who had delays on their package, I would send a follow up email plus your tracker number to confirm the status of your order.

Also note that their phone line does not work and it goes straight to full mailbox, I’ve tried several times and no luck.

The package itself came through fine, no leaks and everything was packaged & SKUed. I also got an insulated bag and two heat packs that were still warm.

For future orders, I do want to test other sellers in this forum (dr reef / reef beauties) for quarantined fish. If anyone has recommendations on good frag vendors, I’m opening to checking them out too!

I’ll be making another post to update you all on my pistol shrimp & YWG’s pairing (big news!)

I live in the desert so I waited until it cooled down to place an order for live fish. Unfortunately both were dead. The water was ice cold, even with the heat pack that was put in the box with them.

Those insulated bags are not enough for overnight or two day shipping, especially when newspaper is the packing material included.

Awesome…I recently ordered a pair. Unfortunately didn’t work out because after qt fish my Sixline wrasse nearly killed my YWG and had to put him in other tank without the shrimp.

That's so sad. Do you have any LFS nearby? I have a handful I go to every few weeks but their stocking is very limited, especially for this new year time. Apparently fish orders were halted and will resume in the spring.

I'd definitely check out local spots if you can, I prefer them 100% over online shopping. Here in the east coast (NY) the stocking on most stores feel bare minimum, unlike some of those stores in FL / CA. They're loaded with exotic fish & corals. I assume because there's a larger pool of reefers around those areas.

I usually buy my fish at one of three LFS or one of two Petcos nearby. I don't prefer ordering fish online but I had a gift card so I made an exception.
