Since it’s had some time in the market now. I was wondering if anyone has had problems with operation or cleaning. Just got mine and so far I love it. Hope it reads properly long term.

thanks for the insight

Didn’t see a problem thread so hopefully not.

I have two in service a bit longer than that as I was doing some testing for them. Nothing major to report but I'm not using them in anything exciting liquid wise. Just my ATO and Saltwater storage. I did have a couple days whereas it was stuck at the 8" marker but it seems it was related to a bubble. Once I took out the LLS module I was able to see it and clear it out. My German Shepherd will steal water from the ATO if I forget to put the lid on. I think her hair managed to get in there causing the bubble when it was low.

User error in my case. Oh - 15 and 23" here. Again nothing earth shattering other than I think they are a great idea and offer some creative ways to do AWC or monitor liquids.

I have mine in my sump. Curious if it’s just going to gradually get dirty and start reporting false readings

I’ve got one in my ATO and one in my return section. Got them the second they came out and not a single issue. Both read the same today as they did day one. Never even calibrated them since there was a bug with the first software update when they came out

Renewing this thread. Back in late 2022, I ordered four LLS's. Two 35's, one 23, and one 4. They were put into service at the beginning of January 2023. One of the 35's wouldn't calibrate out of the package. So Neptune sent me a replacement and all was good. Last week, the 23 would only read 23" when there was less than 5 inches in my sump. I've tried cleaning and calibrating a number of times with no success.

Today, I performed a water change. I noticed the replacement 35 I have in my mix-up tank will not read below 7 inches. The mix-up tank is empty. I am hoping these are just glitches in the production of these items but I am starting to doubt the reliability of these sensors.

I am working with Neptune on these issues and will give updates I have them.

Both of mine are still spot on and rock solid. One in my ATO reservoir and the other in my return section of my sump. The one in my sump is covered in crap from the fuge light and still perfect.

I purchased the 15" LLS in August 2022. I keep it in the return chamber of my sump. Last week despite no change in the actual water level, no manipulation or movement of the LLS, and no snail or other interfering organisms, the water level reading in Fusion began to rise. At that point I tried re-calibrating it and it continually failed calibration. I contacted Neptune support and after some back and forth troubleshooting which didn't work they shipped me a replacement. My LLS was rock solid for 7 months until one day it just went crazy.

You can see here on March 2nd it began to go crazy. Reminder that the actual water level never changed during this period.

I only have one 35" that I use for my ato. It has been rock solid since day one. Zero issues.. Calibration was a little tricky. I used a 1-½ pvc pipe filled with water to set the three calibration points. I like seeing the actual number instead of just high and low points. I can also actually calculate my average daily usage now where as before I had no idea due to everything being automated.

My gripe is that Alexa reports the LLS as "about full", "about half full", and "almost empty". What is the point of marketing the fact that you get real numbers with the LLS only to dumb it down for the status report?

Out of curiosity, did Neptune have you manually calibrate it? I noticed that the one in my sump started reporting values WAY off from reality after a few months of use, but after manually calibrating it mine went right back to normal.

Guess it’s working for everyone.
Mine has been in my sump as well (the one from the A3 package is 15" and too long for my ATO). I figured I might as well use it for something even if the data was relatively useless.. anyway I have not had any problems yet.
The fusion app shows it can be manually recalibrated, and I would assume it is as simple as looking at the measurement and confirming it in the app. - my sump is very dark, so nothing clogging it yet at least but I'm sure eventually it will need to be cleaned either way

Right now the only real use for me in this case would be if the water level dropped suddenly, or the return pump failed and the level raised suddenly.

Yes they had me manually calibrate it but it didn't help, it just kept rising

I bought three right when they came out. The one in my ATO has been fine. the one in a my return chamber failed and was stuck at 10 inches after a few months. Neptune tried to get me to send it back so they could repair and ship back to me. I told them that was unacceptable and after some back and forth they sent me a new one that I have been to lazy to setup.

the third is in another return chamber no issues.

This is exactly what happened to my LLS23, which coincidentally was in the return chamber of my sump too. Now it won't calibrate. Only reads 23.1 inches.
