I’ve had this lobo for awhile .
receding very slow ..
I was considering raising it higher for more light but that also increases flow .

what’s the preferred lighting and flow requirements for these corals ?

I’ll add pictures when the lights come on

What type of flow is it currently in? And which direction is it coming from? Both of mine are located on the sand bed, and in fairly moderate flow. (Not high, but a good consistent stream that alternates.)

I honestly can’t say what the flow is like .
It’s moving ,
There are 2 gyre type pumps one on each end of a 6’ long dt .
They are on the sand bed .

the Xenia just above them have random alternating flow

Mine gets very little light (end of tank lit with T5) and flow. But it does grow very slowly.
It seems to respond well to meaty foods too.

Do you change water? How about parameters?

I do change water but not too often . Parameters
Alk 7.5
Cal 425
Sg 1.026
Nitrates 10ppm
Phosphates .06
The only thing that’s changes is 1) the addition of a juv emperor angelfish that isn’t picking on this particular coral yet
And started soaking food in vitachem

tank is also lit by 8 bulb t5ho

I’m going to try target feeding something meaty
