Lobophyllia attacking each other

These 2 were sold to me as Lobophylia and when i looked today. They were attacking each other 😕. Is this normal?
I should say the green one is more gelatinous where the red one is more stony. Are they actually lobos?

The right one is definitely an Acanthastrea pachysepta.
That is a very aggressive coral, that will try to kill any other coral near it.

The right one is definitely an Acanthastrea pachysepta.
That is a very aggressive coral, that will try to kill any other coral near it.
Im guessing you are referring to the green one right?
The green one did so much damage to the red one 😕

Yes the one on the right is the green one.

I was not exaggerating when I said it will try to kill any coral near it.

Latin names are important. This is what happens when we use umbrella terms like “lobo”.

The pachysepta is a very aggressive and powerful coral. It will win almost any battle in coral warfare. Its sweepers can extend at least 4-5”. It needs to be isolated with a good gap around it
