I will be moving house from the UK to the south of Spain next year and just wanted to start putting a plan together for the aquarium move.

Currently have a 4x2X2 tank with sump and stand, various corals and around 7 fish.

What is the best way to go about this, box everything individually or all together? And what is the best thing to transport for this kind of distance.

The trip will take the best part of 24 hrs driving.

Any advice would be appreciated, all other large items will be going in a moving van but it is the corals and livestock I am concerned about.

Not a huge help, but I would check import/export rules. Not sure if it’s a universal “once in the EU it’s in the EU” or if it’s a country by country thing. That’ll probably be your biggest possible hiccup. Beyond that, I did a two day trip with corals and simply had a small tank with a heater and air stone and everything did fine
