Long filament coming off of paddle finger sinularia?

What are these 2 long filaments?

It's about 6 inches long at the moment and growing. When the sinularia (or devils hand, not exactly sure what it is was sold to me as "paddle finger sinularia) sheds, the strands still remain. If you click on the 3rd picture you can see the strand pretty clear.

Any guesses as to what it is or the best course of action would be appreciated!

hi not sure what it's called ..look for white to pink ,flat blob on coral,if found ,just peel off with fingernail ,or credit card,they come rt off ;)

so somebody in our reef club had something similar happen with his green toadstool. He said it was a way they reproduce. I haven't dug into this but figured I would share this info.
That’s interesting I would have never guessed that

did you see the"blob" by the sweepers ,segmented,think hitchhiker .. @KJ any thoughts? thanks :cool:
